Holly Hawk is a beautiful dark brown, 7/8 Peruvian Champion, sired by the nationally acclaimed black Champion CPeruvian Black Hawk, who was imported in utero, and introduced a rare Peruvian bloodline to the U.S. Holly's light fawn dam, Clementine, is also a Champion, and a daughter of CPeruvian Jaxon, another renowned black Peruvian imported male. Holly was bred with our 3X Champion dark silver grey PV Nikos in Spring 2008. Holly won the brown Color Championship at the 2004 Mid-America Alpaca Show and second in a class of 12 brown yearling females at the 2005 Virginia Classic. Holly is a proven producer of color, including a dark silver grey herdsire prospect, and a black female who remains in our herd.  Octavius arrived on New Year's Day, 2008, hence the name, which is Latin for "eighth". This maroon, recessive black, 15/16 Peruvian male is the genetically blessed son of two colored, Champion parents. Weighing nearly 23lbs at birth, and standing as tall as our month old crias on the day he arrived, this youngster was racing neck and neck with the rest of the gang at only one week of age.
